To Add a File Type to the DGN Indexer

Open the Explorer Settings dialog ( File > Settings > User > Explorer Settings ).
In the Explorer Settings dialog, click the icon in the Indexing Service row.
The DGN Indexing Options dialog opens.
In the File Types tab, enter the new file extension in the Add new extension to list field.
Click Add.
The file type appears in the File Types list box.
